Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing from the www.tiesthatbind.shop website and Ties That Bind! Social App operated by Ties That Bind Handmade LLC via the Wix App.
Your access to and use of both services is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use any and all services provided by Ties That Bind Handmade. These terms and conditions are as follows:
Product Quality and Materials
Bead Durability
When it comes to Bead Durability, there are some colors and finishes that just DO NOT last. Most opaque colors do not run or fade. Yet, any dyed or galvanized bead is very likely to fade or wear off over time. The life of the colors of the beads in a waist beads strand, or other beaded items (i.e. earrings, necklaces, bracelets, rings, etc.), will vary depending upon their exposure to natural/artificial light, cleansing (wet or dry), contact with skin, contact with soaps, lotions, oils, perfumes, etc. and overall use. Some beads may fade after one wear, if in hot or humid climates, also if one has a high skin acidity. A bead whose color wears off quickly on one person may last for many months or even years on another.

Metal Finishes
Wire-wrapped items handcrafted by Ties That Bind Handmade LLC are not produced with precious metals, unless stated in the item description. All metal finishes for handcrafted, wire-wrapped items are permanently color-coated, tarnish resistant, copper wire, except for bare copper. Due to having no coating, bare copper wire will oxidize and patina/tarnish over time and will need regular cleaning (with a copper cleaning agent). Snake chain necklaces and linked chain extenders used with pendants and bracelets are made of color-plated brass; as such, they are affected by the elements: air, water, body oils, lotion, perfume, etc., and will tarnish overtime with normal wear. To maintain its color, wipe your jewelry before and after wearing with a soft polishing cloth. To clean, use warm water and mild liquid soap; rinse and dry thoroughly. Store in airtight jewelry bag or sealed plastic bag for best results.

Charms
All charms are coated to prevent tarnish. However, Ties That Bind cannot account for or be held responsible for items that experience normal wear and tear or items that may be damaged or scratched while being worn by customer.
Modifications and Changes
The customer shall be responsible for making additional payments for requesting that modifications be made to designs that do not conform to the original product description (i.e. clasp installations, color substitutions, added crystals/gemstones, etc.).
Custom Orders
Ties That Bind! reserves the right to accept custom orders on a case-by-case basis. Pricing for a custom order starts at $75.00 and up. A deposit in the amount of 50% of the total purchase price is due upon placement of order. After completion of services, full payment of the balance owed (50%) is due. All invoices carried over 30 days of the final invoice date shall accrue a late fee in the amount of 15% of the total purchase price; late charges shall continue to accrue per month until payment of pending invoice is paid in full.
Order Processing and Shipping
Please allow approximately ten-to-fifteen (10-15) business days (2-3 weeks) for the processing of your order, as all items are handmade, with many being crafted to customer specifications. Crocheted and knitted items may take longer, as most items are handmade-to-order. This does not include shipping time (see Shipping Policy). Items needed in less time are considered rush orders. A fee will be added to all rush orders, depending upon scope of work. Customer shall also be responsible for incurring the fee of any express shipping costs.
