Domestic Shipping Policy
Shipment Processing Time
ALL ITEMS sold on this site are crafted by hand. Some staple items may be in stock, whereas others are handmade-to-order, as they are handcrafted specifically to each customer's choice of main color/accent color, crystal/gemstone, metal finish, size, etc. Domestic orders are normally processed within 10-15 business days (2-3 weeks), crochet/knit products may take longer. Orders are shipped via USPS Ground Advantage; shipping time is normally 2-5 business days. USPS Priority Shipping is also available at a higher rate with a shipping time of 1-3 business days. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone (if a phone number has been provided).
Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking
Once an order has been processed and shipped, the customer will receive a Shipment Confirmation email containing the tracking number(s) for their package(s). The tracking number(s) will be active within 24-48 hours.
Damaged or Lost Orders
Was there an issue with your delivery? If you received your order damaged, please contact Ties That Bind Handmade within 14 days of the delivery date of your order as represented in your tracking information, so that we can contact the shipper, USPS, to file a claim. Similarly, if you did not receive your order (or items are missing from your order), please contact us so that we may contact USPS to file a claim for missing, lost or stolen packages. If you do not report this issue within 14 days, we will not be able to issue you a replacement order. Please note: USPS Ground Advantage Service and USPS Priority Mail both include insurance in their price (up to $100). Additional insurance may be purchased for orders valued beyond this amount. Filing a claim is a process and can take time. For this reason, it is important that we are notified immediately of any issues.
International Shipping Policy

Some staple items may be in stock, whereas others are handmade-to-order, as they are handcrafted specifically to each customer's choice of main color/accent color, crystal/gemstone, metal finish, size, etc. International orders are normally processed within 10-15 business days (2-3 weeks). This does not include shipping time. Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail International Service. The maximum weight for international small flat rate orders is 4 lbs, medium/large flat rate orders is 20 lbs. The price for shipping starts at $32.00 USD for packages weighing 0-4 lbs; the price for shipping starts at $62.00 USD for packages weighing more than 4 - 20 lbs. However, these prices may vary and be adjusted based on the destination country. Actual shipping times will also vary based on the destination country. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays.

International Shipping prices are shown in U.S. dollars. For conversion, we recommend utilizing a currency converter. Any import duties, taxes or brokerage fees due at the time of delivery are the sole responsibility of the receiving customer.
